Tokayev and Putin highly evaluate progress of economic and military cooperation

The leaders of the two states highlighted the similarity of views on further operationalization of the potential within the EAEU.

On March 23, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The leaders of the two countries highly evaluated the current level of relations across a wide spectrum, the press office of Akorda reported.

The leader of Kazakhstan expressed satisfaction with active collaborative efforts towards developing aircraft building, automobile building and chemical production. Tokayev said the signing of the Economic Cooperation Programme for 2021-2025 between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Russia would be essential to enhancing cooperation.

Vladimir Putin highlighted the need to continue to build up constructive bilateral contacts in the trade and economic sectors and the military technology industry and speed up digital transformation.

The leaders of the two states highlighted the similarity of views on further operationalization of the potential within the EAEU and confirmed their readiness to take more vigorous action on this vector of partnerships.
