Uzbekistan and Egypt will join efforts to fight corruption together. The agreement was reached during the visit of an Uzbek delegation, led by Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Akmal Burkhanov, to the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) of Egypt, the press office of the Anti-Corruption Agency reports all the details.
As reported, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation and joint work in the future, including public participation in preventing corruption. The parties also exchanged experiences. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed during the meeting.
According to the press office, the Memorandum envisages bilateral cooperation in a number of areas. These include the exchange of experience and training. The parties also agreed to hold joint forums and trainings and exchange information on corruption cases.
