On May 2, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met with US Ambassador to Tajikistan Manuel Micaller to discuss promoting regional security cooperation between the two countries, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The diplomats discussed current issues of bilateral relations.
They confirmed that the United States and the Republic of Tajikistan are tied by multifaceted cooperation based on friendship and long-lasting partnerships.
Mukhriddin and Micaller discussed fostering political dialogue and interaction toward regional security and stability. The agenda focused on ramping up ties in the economic, social and investment sectors and under humanitarian projects. The leadership of Tajikistan and the United States are set to hold constructive talks on the C5+1 platform in the future.
