Kyrgyzstan reports decline in coronavirus cases

President and Prime Minister discussed the epidemiological situation and economic development at the meeting.

On August 17, President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov took part in an online meeting together with Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov. They discussed the epidemiological and economic situation in the country. Boronov noted that there is a significant decline in the daily COVID-19 cases. It was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the Kyrgyz president.

Moreover, the Prime Minister informed that now 14 billion soms are allocated to support the business sector. He said that the development of financial resources is underway.

The participants of the meeting highlighted that the number of bank documents for obtaining a loan has been reduced from 7 to 3 as part of decreasing democratic delays for businessmen.

Jeenbekov in turn pointed out the need to ensure food security, increase material reserves with grain and medical supplies.

At the same time, the head of the state noted that it is important to conduct research on the impact of coronavirus epidemic on healthcare, the economic and social spheres.
