On April 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory telegram to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on his 75th birthday, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
The President emphasised Guterres’s contribution to strengthening peace, ensuring global security and facilitating sustainable and accelerated development of all states. Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to close cooperation with the UN.
The President wished the UN Secretary-General good health, happiness and every success in his future international activities.
Turkmenistan has repeatedly underscored the importance of strengthening international cooperation with the UN.
