Tajik citizens called on to refrain from festive activities on Eid al-Fitr

The President of the Republic noted that the end of the 30-day fast should be celebrated with good actions and pious deeds.

The holy month of Ramadan ended in Tajikistan, and citizens of the Republic are observing the Eid al-Fitr holiday that symbolises the end of the fast. President of the Republic Emomali Rahmon urged citizens to refrain from the unnecessary spending and festive activities on this bright holiday, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.

In his address, the President emphasised that every believer strives to perform good deeds, improve his life and help sick, disabled and poor people and orphans during the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

Emomali Rahmon called on every family and all citizens of the Republic to spare and efficiently use resources, particularly during the holidays. He said everyone should take care of his family, providing his children with education and caring for their present and future.
