President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated citizens of the country on the holy Oraza bayram. He emphasised that this holiday is a lofty symbol of charity, kindness and humanism, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
«Our courageous people, committed to the principles of friendship, humanism and good morals, have great reverence for the holy month of Oraza, adhering to the high ideals and moral values of Islamic culture. This year, the theme of which is „The Fount of the Wisdom of Magtymguly Fraghi“, fasts and age-old traditions have been observed, tarava prayers have been read, every family has had meals and iftar and offered up prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the Motherland during the month of Oraza,» the President said.
Berdimuhamedov noted that the Turkmen people are known over the history of humankind as a nation with rich experience in founding ancient civilizations and states, building a fair society and establishing the principles of peace, friendship, humanism and goodness.
«I wish you good health, happiness and every success in your work for the further prosperity of the Fatherland that is moving forward resolutely to new heights of progress,» the President said.
