The top managers of CITIC Construction arrived in Tashkent from China to discuss expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the agricultural, industrial and road transport sectors, the press office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan reported.
The top managers and President of CITIC Construction Yang Jianqiang participated in the talks. The agenda focused on future cooperation in the engineering infrastructure and road transport sectors.
In particular, they discussed concreting canals and constructing the Pungan-Namangan road. The authorities of Uzbekistan are planning to use water resources more efficiently and build up capacities of transport infrastructure in the regions of the country with the help of the Chinese company.
