Uzbekistan will take part in the large-scale event — World Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan. This event will provide a platform to over 170 countries to showcase their economic, cultural, scientific and technological achievements, Gazeta.uz reported.
The theme of the international exhibition is Designing Future Society for Our Lives. It will focus on using advanced technologies to resolve social problems, such as living standards and inequalities in access to healthcare and education.
World Expo will take place on the island of Yumeshima, which means «Island of Dreams» in Japanese, in Osaka Bay. The Uzbekistan’s Pavilion is currently under construction under the leadership of the Art and Culture Development Foundation and with the support of Gayane Umerova. The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan began to develop the project in 2023. Nussli Switzerland is the official partner of the Pavilion.
