Kyrgyzstan establishes cooperation in culture and science with Leningrad Region

The cooperation plan sets the objectives for 2024-2026 in the technology, trade and economic sectors.

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the heads of Leningrad Region of Russia and Chui Region of the Kyrgyz Republic agreed to establish close cooperation in economy, trade, science, advanced technologies and culture, the press office of the Leningrad Region Administration reported.

Governor of Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko noted that Russia-Kyrgyzstan trade has shown significant growth, which substantially influences the progress in relations between the two countries and has a positive impact on the standard of living of their citizens.

The Governor expressed belief in the high potential of “public diplomacy” that he described as the groundwork and platform for building friendly and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.

The parties signed the 2024-2026 action plan. A. S. Pushkin Leningrad State University and B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University signed a memorandum of assistance.
