Tokayev receives letters of credence from ambassadors of six states

The ambassadors of Egypt, Syria, Colombia, Serbia, Luxembourg and Australia presented their letters of credence.

The ceremony of presenting letters of credence from the ambassadors of 6 states to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev took place at the Akorda State Residence. The diplomats from Egypt (Ibtissam Rakha Ahmed Hassan), Serbia (Vladimir Jovičić), Luxembourg (Thomas Reisen), Australia (John William Geering), Colombia (Héctor Isidro Arenas Neira) and Syria (ashar Jaafari) presented their letters of credence.

The President noted that Kazakhstan is pursuing the peaceful and constructive foreign policy and seeking to promote cooperation with other states. He expressed belief that successful cooperation in various fields, such as economy and investment, and political dialogue will continue.

The President assured the ambassadors of reliable partnerships with Kazakhstan in the international arena.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev wished the ambassadors every success in their work, noting that the Government of Kazakhstan will provide support in performing their duties. He sent his greetings to the heads of state.
