On March 7, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the measures being taken by the Turkmenneft State Concern to explore deep wells and extract hydrocarbons during the regular government meeting. The President noted the importance of taking consistent measures to improve the material and technical base of the fuel and energy industry, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
Amanov noted that the subdivisions of Turkmenistan’s fuel and energy industry take complex measures to search for and extract oil and natural gas. Turkmenneft explores productive formations in deep wells that differ from traditional ones, using the best international practices.
In this context, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasised that conditions conducive to stuffing oil and gas fields with modern equipment and technical installations are created to increase well productivity and drill new underground wells.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Batyr Amanov to continue implementing measures to stuff the industry with advanced equipment and devices that will allow conducting necessary works on oil and gas wells over 7,000 metres deep.
