President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated women on Mother’s Day. The President of the Republic noted that this holiday is celebrated before Navruz, symbolizing spring and the rebirth of nature.
The President of Tajikistan says a woman-mother is the source of life, a symbol of purity and beauty and the custodian of love and devotion. On behalf of all men, Rahmon thanked all mothers, wives and sisters for their contribution to raising children and developing society. He wished good health and prosperity to every woman.
«We, men, born and raised by mothers, must show respect to the woman-mother not only on holidays, but also every moment and hour,» the President said. He added that women should always be cared for and served.
Emomali Rahmon emphasised that women play an important role in the life of Tajik society. Mother’s Day celebrations show that the state and people respect and protect the woman-mother.
