The State Committee on Investment of Tajikistan expressed support for joint projects with Russia, the RF Embassy in Dushanbe reported.
According to Sputnik, the agreement was reached during a meeting between RF Ambassador to Tajikistan Semyon Grigoriev and Trade Representative Evgeniy Korenkov with newly appointed Chairman of the State Committee on Investment of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda.
Grigoriev presented a number of joint projects under development to Rahimzoda. The parties discussed the tasks set by the leaders of the two states, Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon, including the promotion of investment cooperation.
Rahimzoda assured that the Committee will contribute to promoting bilateral relations.
As was reported, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has recently visited Kazan to participate in the opening ceremony of the Games of the Future and held talks with Vladimir Putin.
