Kyrgyzstan will host the Children of the Commonwealth International Cultural and Educational Forum this summer, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, headed by Dmitry Kobitsky, reported in the Telegram channel.
According to the organisers, the Forum will bring together children in Cholpon-Ata from June 25 to July 4. This is a picturesque place on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.
Children from the CIS Member States will participate in the forum. They will introduce the traditions and customs of their countries to each other and participate in numerous events: master classes, competitions, creative evenings, mind games and contests.
The IPA CIS noted that the forum has been held since 2013. In the first years it was held only in Kyrgyzstan, but later the geography was expanded: schoolchildren visited Russia and Uzbekistan.
One of the main goals of the Forum is to provide a platform for uniting children from different countries. Furthermore, it will help young people grow up in a spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.
