The contest for President’s grant will start in Tajikistan in the near future. The grant programme is aimed at supporting craftsmen and promoting the growth in the industry this year, the press office of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan that will hold the contest reported the details.
This year, 20 grants worth 25,000 somoni each will be provided. Contest applications in the state language are accepted until April 1, 2024.
As was reported, the Government of the Republic adopted the Resolution on grant support for craftsmen. In accordance with the document, 60 grants totally worth 1.5 million somoni will be provided for a three-year period, from 2024 to 2026. 20 grants will be provided in 2024, 2025 and 2026 each. This initiative is aimed at developing the craft industry and supporting craftsmen in Tajikistan.
