Uzbekistan is preparing to host the III Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-III) on May 2-3. The programme of the two-day forum includes a plenary session, about 50 discussion meetings with experts, panel sessions, roundtable meetings and bilateral talks, the press office of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic reports.
Registration for the forum is open until April 25. The main aim of the event is to showcase the economic potential of Uzbekistan and attract investment. The forum will be an opportunity to discuss the prospects and challenges to investment activity in the region, as well as present the investment opportunities of Uzbekistan and business support mechanisms.
The organiser of the Tashkent Investment Forum is the Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
Last year, the forum brought together 2,500 participants from 70 countries. They signed 164 agreements totally worth $11 billion. This year’s forum is expected to bring together even more participants.
