Master classes in Moscow offered to Kyrgyz oncologists

Other agreements were reached during the visit of the Minister of Health of the Republic to Russia.

On February 15, Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with a Russian oncologist Andrei Kaprin in Moscow. They discussed cooperation in medical science and education between the two countries, the press office of the Ministry of Health of the Republic reported.

Beishenaliev visited the National Medical Research Radiological Centre, headed by Kaprin. The interlocutors expressed the willingness to build up staff capacity, conduct scientific research and promote health tourism and cooperation among young oncologists.

They discussed advanced training programmes for oncologists from Kyrgyzstan, master classes with Kaprin, online consultation on complicated clinical cases and supplies of biopsy and cytology samples to diagnose cancer.

The parties agreed to present an overview on scientific research conducted at the medical centres of the two countries and hold a joint science conference.
