Tajikistan to train international class rescuers

Training sessions will be held in Russia and Belarus.

The Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan will set up a group of international class rescuers in 2024. This statement was made by Chairman of the Committee Rustam Nazarzoda, the Khovar National News Agency reported.

According to the Chairman of the Committee, there is no educational institution in Tajikistan that trains rescue operations specialists. Employees of the Committee are sent to study at academies in the Russian Federation and Belarus. Trainers are invited from foreign countries.

Nazarzoda informed about the plans to train about 50 international class rescuers by this autumn. They will be involved in disaster relief operations outside the country. Rescuers will be provided with special equipment and uniforms and speak English.
