Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in St. Petersburg Altynai Sakeyeva and President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Katenev met in St. Petersburg. The interlocutors discussed cooperation and development of new projects, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Vladimir Katenev spoke about the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its activities. He noted that the Chamber has existed since 1921; it is one of the largest in Russia. It unites about 4,000 companies and entrepreneurs, from small to large.
Sakeyeva noted that Kyrgyzstan is seeking to cooperate with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She spoke about several promising investment projects in the energy sector and export commodities. The interlocutors discussed the prospects of cooperation in other areas of mutual interest to Kyrgyz and Russian business companies. They also agreed to hold exhibitions in the two countries.
