Kazakhstan and China agree to strengthen relations

The representatives of the two countries met in Astana.

On January 26, the representatives of China and Kazakhstan met in Astana. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Hao Mingjin discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, the press office of the Government of Kazakhstan reports.

The parties exchanged views on ongoing political and economic reforms in Kazakhstan, and Hao Mingjin highly evaluated the balance of foreign policy and all measures taken to ensure political stability in the country. They also discussed promoting bilateral relations and noted a high level of political and economic interaction.

The need to strengthen friendly ties and partnerships between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the PRC was noted.
