Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomuddin Sattorov visited the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein to strengthen and expand ties with the northern regions of Germany. On January 18, he met with Minister-President Daniel Günther to discuss further strengthening relations between Tajikistan and Schleswig-Holstein in economy, renewable energy, science, education, culture and migration.
The diplomat had a meeting with Vice President of Christian Albrechts University of Kiel Prof. Dr. Ralph Schneider during his visit to Kiel, Avesta reports referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
They discussed resuming inter-university ties and eveloping and implementing joint research projects in water and glacier conservation. They also agreed on student exchange programmes.
