Tajikistan and South Korea discuss employee training issues

Relations in this area are developing gradually, but consistently.

Deputy Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan Kiyomiddin Davlatzoda held a meeting with a delegation of the Tajikistan Office of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The meeting focused on important issues, including the expansion and development of the textile industry, employee training and labour migration, the Khovar National News Agency reports.

The Deputy Minister noted that Tajikistan-Korea relations are developing gradually. In particular, active work is underway to prepare and train workers who will travel to the Republic of Korea to work.

The parties discussed cooperation in the construction sector and partnerships between the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan and the KOICA Tajikistan Office. Up-to-date information and proposals for further initiatives were presented at the meeting.
