In December 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan aimed its work at protecting the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens in foreign states. For example, many meetings and consular services were conducted, assistance in legalizing stay in foreign countries was provided. 181 citizens of Kyrgyzstan received assistance in legalizing their stay.
The necessary measures were taken to repatriate citizens from conflict and disaster zones. 31 women and 65 children returned home from Syrian camps.
