On January 4, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Representative of the UAE President for Turkmenistan Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al Ariqi during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, Turkmenistan: Golden Age e-Newspaper reports.
The interlocutors exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in such priority areas as trade, economy, fuel and energy, banking and finance.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed belief that keys issues related to strengthening long-term mutually beneficial cooperation will be discussed during his visit to the UAE.
Hero-Arkadag emphasised that Turkmenistan is open to constructive dialogue with all interested partners. The country has the world’s second-largest natural gas reserves and is actively developing gas fields and diversifying ‘blue fuel’ export routes.
The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to promoting «green» energy and adopting renewable energy technologies. The promising areas for international cooperation include transport and communications.
