Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Central Asia Kaha Imnadze emphasised that UNRCCA highly evaluates effective cooperation with Turkmenistan and is ready to provide further assistance to the country and the Central Asian region as a whole, the Turkmenistan: Today National News Agency reported.
In his congratulatory letter to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on January 3, the Head of the UN Regional Centre focused on the important events and achievements of Turkmenistan in 2023. In particular, he noted the UN General Assembly Resolution «2023 — the International Year of Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace», initiated by Ashgabat. Imnadze said this vividly testifies to recognition by the international community of Turkmenistan’s growing authority on the world arena.
The Head of the UN Regional Centre thanked the leadership of Turkmenistan for supporting the Regional Centre and congratulated the President on the New 2024 Year and the progress achieved in 2023.
