President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of congratulations on the upcoming New 2024 Year to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmenistan Today National News Agency reports.
Putin expressed belief that in 2023 relations between Russia and Turkmenistan continued to develop dynamically in vein of in-depth strategic partnerships. A meaningful political dialogue has been maintained, and cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and other fields has brought good results.
The Russian side expects Ashgabat and Moscow to continue close and constructive work on current issues of the bilateral and international agenda for the benefit of the two friendly peoples, seeking to strengthen security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region.
The Russian leader wished good health and every success to his Turkmen counterpart, and well-being and prosperity to all citizens of Turkmenistan.
