Advisor and Press Secretary to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev Berik Uali told journalists about the President’s plans for the New Year holidays, the Kazinform International News Agency reports.
To the question «Where and how will the President celebrate the New Year?» Berik Uali said Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev does not like grandiose celebrations, and he plans to celebrate the New 2024 Year «like everyone else» — together with his family at the festive table.
«As you know, the President does not celebrate his birthday. He has paid a state visit to China this year, even though it fell on his jubilee. Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich, like all of us, celebrates the New Year Eve at home, at the festive table, together with his family,» Berik Uali said.
The «closedness» of the President of Kazakhstan from the media was mentioned during the interview. The Press Secretary noted that, despite a very busy schedule, the President has held 8 briefings for journalists, published 3 articles and gave 4 interviews. Berik Uali also announced that Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will give a big interview in early January 2024.
