On December 8, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the development and modernisation of Turkmenistan’s fuel and energy sector in January-November of the year during an online government meeting, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Amanov noted that during the reported period, the production plan for gasoline was fulfilled by 103 percent, diesel fuel by 102.8 percent, lubricating oils by 104.5 percent and liquefied gas by 116.1 percent.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that in January-November, the production plan for natural gas and associated gas was fulfilled by 107.6 percent and «blue fuel» export by 113.8 percent.
The President emphasised the importance of achieving the objectives of the Fuel and Energy Development Programme. Berdimuhamedov highlighted the need to take necessary measures to increase oil and gas production.
The President instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare for the celebration of the Day of Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers and ensure the high level of organisation of the events.
