In November, the forum organised by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Biotechnological University (ROSBIOTECH) brought together participants from 264 Russian-language schools in Bishkek, Voice of the CIS reports referring to the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan.
Principals and teachers of the Russian-language schools from the Republic discussed the prospects of cooperation with Russian schools at the roundtable meetings, which were held as part of the forum. They underwent training on the methods of work with talented schoolchildren and patriotic education of youth.
Schoolchildren and applicants visited the Education in Russia – 2024 exhibition arranged by Russian universities. Young people can enrol in budget-funded places through a government quota.
The Ministry of Education emphasised that such events contribute to building up capacities of schoolteachers in Kyrgyzstan through informing about the advanced achievements of Russian educational institutions in preschool, school, primary, secondary and higher vocational education.
