President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon said the World Bank has contributed significantly to co-financing the projects on climate change mitigation and adaptation. He also called the World Bank one of the major partners of his country and noted the high level of interaction between Tajikistan and the Bank, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.
Emomali Rahmon and Ajay Banga discussed ongoing cooperation in a variety of areas, from energy and water supply to the economy and social protection. The interlocutors exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
