In October–November, the forums for educational institutions at various levels, including teachers, school administrators and university rectors, took place in Kyrgyzstan. The events were organised within cooperation in education between Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation, the Voice of the CIS reports referring to Deputy Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The First Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Forum of University Rectors took place at the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan International University on October 3-4. The participants discussed managing the educational process and improving the quality of education. University rectors established contacts with counterparts and agreed on the implementation of joint projects.
On October 13, the Third Kyrgyzstan-Russia Forum of University Rectors was held at Osh State University. The event focused on integration, cooperation and innovation in higher education. The forum provided a platform for exchanging experiences and finding new solutions in professional training to meet labour market demand.
The Russian Language Centre was opened as part of the Kyrgyzstan-Russia International Forum of Teachers, which was held on October 3. Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Aida Rysbaeva and Acting Director of the Centre for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Malyshev attended the opening ceremony. Similar centres operate in other cities: Karakol, Kant and Batken.
