On November 23, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Minsk, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports the details.
The summit focused on contemporary global challenges and threats, as well as the priority areas of activity of the CSTO. The parties also spoke about the surge in global and regional challenges and threats. They discussed strengthening cooperation.
The participants exchanged views on combating terrorism, extremism, drug and weapons trafficking, cybercrime and other forms of transnational crime.
Following the summit, the participants adopted a Declaration and other decisions aimed at making the organisation more effective and optimising the activities of the CSTO.
