Kazakh senators take part in Youth Forum in Kyrgyzstan

The Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Youth Forum has started in Kyrgyzstan.

The delegation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan led by Chairman of the upper house of Parliament Maulen Ashimbaev attended the opening ceremony of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Youth Forum, the press office of the Parliament of Kazakhstan reported.

In his speech at the forum, Maulen Ashimbaev emphasised the importance of maintaining the continuity of generations and friendly relations between the two countries.

“Kazakhs and Kyrgyz are bound by a common historical destiny. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich Tokayev keeps emphasising that Kyrgyzstan is not only an allied, but also fraternal state for our country,” Ashimbaev said.

The Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan noted that cooperation between the leaders of the two countries gives impetus to strengthening friendship between young Kazakhs and Kyrgyz. The Chairman of the Senate highlighted the need to unite and counter common challenges in conditions of modern geopolitical instability, drawing lessons from common history.
