Tajikistan will soon connect its telecommunications networks to China’s telecommunications networks, the Communication Service under the Government of Tajikistan reported.
This will be done under the Dushanbe-Kulyab-Darvaz-Rushan-Khorog-Kulma highway project. The Communication Service reported that the work is underway to connect Tajikistan to China’s networks.
The press office of the Communication Service leaded by Beg Sabur noted that these efforts are aimed at building additional international fibre optic communication lines, which will significantly increase access to the global Internet networks. This step will also enhance the transit potential of the telecommunications networks and reduce communication isolation of Tajikistan.
