President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev was informed about the key growth indicators in the energy industry for the first 10 months of the year, the Telegram channel of Akorda reported.
Almasadam Satkaliev reported that in Kazakhstan, oil production stood at 74.8 million tonnes, natural gas production – 48.7 billion cubic metres, uranium production – 15,350 tonnes, oil product output – 11.2 million tonnes and electricity production – 93.5 billion kilowatt-hours during the above period.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev was informed about the stages of development of electric power networks in Kazakhstan and potential electricity sales using the mechanism introduced this June.
“The President was informed about additional control over the preparations for the winter heating season. In particular, the Minister reported that 5.5 million tonnes of coal and 100,000 tonnes of fuel oil have been prepared for energy facilities,” the press office of the Government of Kazakhstan reported.
