Bishkek will host the first-ever Days of Italian Cinematography through cooperation of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Italy, the Department of Cinematography under the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan and the Cinematika cinema chain, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Citizens of the capital city of the Republic will have an opportunity to watch 4 full-length Italian films with Russian subtitles at the Ala-Too cinema on November 15-16. These are Dante, Running to You, Orlando and Ipersonia.
The opening ceremony of the Days of Italian Cinematography is scheduled to take place at the Ala-Too cinema on November 15 at 17:30. The programme includes a meeting between guests and participants, a buffet reception, an official part and a screening of Dante.
A representative of the Ministry of Culture of Italy will take part in the ceremony. Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan will attend the event.
