Currently, 99 primary health care facilities are under construction, and 4 multidisciplinary central district hospitals are undergoing a major overhaul with the support of regional akimats. According to First Deputy Minister of Health Timur Sultangaziev, construction work will be completed before the end of the year, the press office of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan reports.
Sultangaziev informed about construction and reconstruction works on health care institutions during his trip to Aktobe Region. Answering questions from journalists, he said 655 primary health care facilities will be built: outpatient clinics, feldsher-midwife stations and first aid posts under the national project.
It is planned to overhaul and reconstruct 32 inter-district central hospitals that provide emergency care for a heart attack, a stroke, traumas, etc.
