The International Presidential School in Dushanbe received the most energy efficient school title. The award ceremony took place as part of the European Union Green Diplomacy Week and the EU Tajikistan: Sustainable Energy Days campaign, the press office of the EU Programme for Sustainable Energy Connectivity in Central Asia reports.
EU Ambassador to Tajikistan Raimundas Karoblis highlighted the important role of energy efficiency and sustainable use of natural resources in building an eco-friendly future. He congratulated the International Presidential School on the title and encouraged other schools to follow its lead.
The most energy efficient school title was awarded on the basis of the survey conducted by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan. The school demonstrated efficient energy consumption and the readiness to adopt energy efficient technologies and foster energy efficiency skills in schoolchildren.
