Minister of Environment of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov met with the top managers of the major Turkish landscape architecture companies — Minvall Construction, IŞIK Peyzaj and Meta Peyzaj Planning. The parties held business talks on the use of landscape design software, the press office of the Government of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
Discussing the development of landscaping ideas and the coordination of joint projects, the parties were unanimous that the creation of highly-maintained urban green spaces is of tremendous social importance.
They paid particular attention to the implementation of the Concept on Transition towards Green Economy until 2030. The Minister and the top managers of the Turkish companies elaborated on the plans and measures for transitioning towards stable and sustainable development. The emphasis was placed on the importance of creating green spaces near large settlements.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the Turkish companies for successful cooperation and the results of joint work. He expressed hope that effective cooperation continues in the future.
