President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev discussed further cooperation between the two countries during a telephone conversation with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The issues under discussion included trade and economic interaction, the press office of President of Kazakhstan reported the details in its Telegram channel.
Tokayev and Erdogan focused on the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, trade, economic and other areas and discussed current issues on the international and regional agenda.
The two leaders confirmed their commitment to strengthening and expanding strategic partnerships. They noted that relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey are based on mutual trust and support.
Tokayev and Erdogan exchanged views on the progress of preparatory work for the X Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in Astana.
