President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with President and CEO of Siemens AG Roland Busch in Berlin. The Telegram channel of Akorda reports, the talks focused on the prospects of cooperation in industry, energy, mechanical engineering and digitalization.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev expressed gratitude to Siemens for its contribution to technological progress in Kazakhstan, particularly as one of the first German companies to enter the Kazakh market.
On that day, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with President and CEO of Siemens Energy AG Christian Bruch. The issues under discussion included the prospects for cooperation in the energy sector.
They noted the importance of the Memorandum of Understanding in the energy sector between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and Siemens Energy, which was signed the day before. This document provides for the company’s participation in major energy and decarbonization projects in the country.
