The head of the state congratulated his colleague on the 32nd anniversary of the republic’s independence. He noted that the country has achieved successes in the economic and social spheres. Vladimir Putin pointed out the importance of the policy of positive neutrality for strengthening security in Central Asia and the Caspian region. The Russian president expressed confidence that together with Serdar Berdimuhamedov they will expand fruitful bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The head of the Russian Federation also sent a congratulatory letter to the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. He emphasized that the Turkmen politician made a big contribution to deepening the strategic partnership. Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that the cooperation will continue to be in line with regional stability and security.
