President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has left for New York as part of a working visit, which is scheduled to take place on September 17-21. The President will participate in the events of the General Assembly High-Level Week 2023, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The programme of President Japarov’s visit includes several events. On September 18, he will take part in the SDG Summit Leaders’ Dialogue.
The second day of the visit to New York has a versatile programme. Sadyr Japarov will deliver a speech on the first day of the high-level General Debate of the UN General Assembly, hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden and participate in the First Central Asia-US Summit.
On September 21, Japarov will attend the Kyrgyzstan-US Business Forum. He will make presentations of the economic potential and investment opportunities of Kyrgyzstan.
Meetings between President Japarov and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner and the heads of other countries and international financial institutions are scheduled to take place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
