President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will arrive in the United States next week for a working visit to attend high-level political discussions and address the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Gazeta.uz refers to Press Secretary of the President of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov.
The President will inform about ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and the progress made by Uzbekistan in the social policy. The Uzbek leader will put forward a number of important initiatives, which may be of regional and global significance.
This is not the first tip of Mirziyoyev to New York; he delivered a speech at the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly in 2017. The President shared new approaches to the modernisation of Uzbekistan.
