A modern tourist complex will be launched in the Zaamin tourist and recreational zone in the very near future. The project will cost more than 2.8 trillion soums, Podrobno.uz reports.
The centre will have a 225-seat congress centre, a family recreation centre, 4 four-star and 7 three-star hotels, 6 residential buildings and 7 restaurants and cafes. It is planned to build an 8-kilometre ski track and 13 attractions for leisure and recreation activities.
A cable railway worth 133.3 billion soums was launched in the Zaamin tourist and recreational zone in Zaamin district, Jizzakh Region. The project was implemented jointly with Swiss Bartholet, the press office of the Committee for Tourism under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan reported.
This is not the first tourism development project in Uzbekistan. For example, a modern tourist resort Silk Road Family Resort has sprung up on the shores of Lake Tudakul, where the Stihiya Festival has taken place recently.
