On August 28, a meeting between Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic Rakhimzoda Ramazon Khamro and the heads of Tajik public organisations in Moscow took place at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia. The activists and well-known representatives of Tajik intelligentsia who live in Russia attended the meeting, the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan reported.
The main issues under discussion included labour migration. In particular, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reminded about the importance of awareness raising activities and compliance with Russian laws. Tajik citizens were also reminded about the rules of preparing migrant documents before departure to the Russian Federation.
Khamro urged the public organisations to strengthen ties and cooperation with Tajik citizens who arrive in Russia. He stressed that young people should be brought up in the spirit of national unity and patriotism, which would allow preventing undesirable actions.
