The two leaders discussed the outcomes of the Days of Uzbek Culture that were recently held in Azerbaijan. Their programme included a presentation of the novel Past Days by a famous Uzbek writer Abdulla Kadiri, which was translated into Azerbaijani. The two leaders agreed to hold similar cultural events in the future to build up mutual understanding and promote cultural exchange.
The issues under discussion included cooperation in such important sectors as trade, industry and logistics. The parties agreed to implement major projects in the metallurgical, energy, agricultural, tourism and other sectors.
