A working group led by Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, consisting of the heads of departments, industry associations and local authorities, visited the industrial facilities in Syrdarya Region, the press office of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan reports.
The aim of the visit is to assess the effectiveness of the measures taken to implement the regional investment programme, enhance the export potential and boost industrial production.
The delegation visited the enterprises in Syrdarya, Gulistan, Mirzaabad and Khavas districts and the cities of Gulistan and Yangiyer.
The working group held talks with the local entrepreneurs who shared their problems and proposals for improving the business climate in the region. The solution algorithms were developed for each question raised, including those requiring an integrated problem-solving approach.
This year, 299 projects worth over $120 million have been launched in Syrdarya Region
