A delegation of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation arrived in Bishkek. They were received by Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov. They discussed the preparations for the 16th CIS Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia, which will be held in the capital of the Republic, the press office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The delegation was headed by Deputy Executive Director of the Dolya Fund Elvira Rafik kyzy. The forum will be held on September 11-13 this year.
Baisalov stressed that the forum is a great opportunity to expand the potential of cooperation in culture and science, as well as to exchange experience on sustainable development issues.
The projects implemented by the CIS Member States were submitted for consideration.
The theme of this year’s forum is «Dialogue of languages and cultures of the Commonwealth Member States — a resource for sustainable development».
